While the Joint compound is still wet, apply the fiberglass tape over the skim coat of Joint Compound. Make sure the seam is centered under the tape. Once the tape has been installed, apply additional Joint Compound over the tape, again using the 6? wide taping knife. Continue this for all of the seams. Note: the tape will still be visible. Additional coats will eventually hide it.
The inside corners are usually the most tricky and require practice. Patience is the best advice and note that additional coats will be applied later to smooth out any imperfections.
Once the seams are done, using the 6? wide taping knife, apply mud to all of the screw/nail dimples.

PENSIONERS who were evacuated from their bungalows after a mystery gas leak three weeks ago could be in line for compensation.
Elderly residents at two properties in Fairview Road, Leek, have been warned gas readings are still too high and it could be weeks before are allowed home.

After checking my horoscope, I stupidly faced down my fears and stepped on the scale. I knew it was going to be bad. I haven’t stepped on a scale for at least a year because it’s about as enjoyable as sticking a fork in my eye. Anyway, I stripped down completely, even thought about plucking my eyebrows to save a few ounces, but realized even my eyebrow hair, Eddie-Munster-like as it is, probably doesn’t weight that much. I stepped on (stupid, clunky, dramatic music please), eyes closed. Slowly, I opened one eye and peeked.
After the initial shock wore off, I developed a sudden case of Tourette’s and thought about actually sticking a fork in my eye. (I’m having a hard time finding my emotional reset button here folks, kay? Anyone know where it is? Does it look like a belly button? A big toe?)
I had an epiphany.
